Berlin/Chicago, September 9th, 2005. callas software from Germany (booth 7263) has extended its technology branch by launching PDF Command Line Interface (CLI) modules suitable for Sun Solaris and Linux.

callas pdfInspektor3 CLI (analyzes and preflights PDFs), pdfCorrect CLI (fixes errors in PDFs) and pdfColorConvert CLI (converts RGB/Spot Color to CMYK) have especially been designed to be integrated into inhouse production environments, web services or other software solutions. They offer the same range of functionality as the Plug-In versions, but do not require Adobe Acrobat. Windows and Mac OS X based versions of all three CLI modules have already been introduced in July 2005.

The prices for callas' CLI modules, which allow for processing even large numbers of PDF files automatically and at high speed, range from 2.490 EURO (for server based use) to 4.999 EURO (for ASP based use), CLI bundles are also available.
