Starting callas pdfaPilot – Important information at a glance
Once you have started the plug-in from the Acrobat Professional ‘Plug-Ins’ menu, you immediately see all the important information on the open PDF document. The lower information field allows you to identify the features of the file at a glance: ‘PDF/A file? Yes/No?’, ‘File name’, ‘Modification date’, and ‘File size’.
To convert the open PDF file to PDF/A, simply click the central pushbutton.
However, we recommend that you first check the open file to see whether or not it is suitable for PDF/A long-term archiving. To do so, click the ‘Check for PDF/A…’ pushbutton.
