Detecting problems in the PDF
In order to obtain more detailed information on existing problems before repairing the file and converting it to PDF/A, simply click the relevant pushbutton. In our example, click the uppermost field for information on font problems. A window containing a list of all font problems appears.
In our example, the fonts ArialMT and ArialMT Bold are missing in 27 places. These fonts need to be embedded so that the file can be displayed and printed out in exactly the same way in any location later on.
For specific information on each problem, click the relevant link from within this details window (see next page).
