Defining the printout procedure
Once you have removed the ICC profiles, you can turn your attention to the other sources of error in our sample PDF: You can embed the defective fonts, remove transparencies, strengthen hairlines, set black text to overprinting, and set the white object to knockout. You can also reset defective file attributes.
First, you have to set the printout procedure. The common procedures are located on the ‘Profiles’ tab. For our example, choose ‘For Sheetfed offset…’. All common correction steps for this print procedure have already been summarized in one profile.
If you like to work with the default settings, click ‘Correct’ at the bottom right-hand side of the user interface.
