Separating and merging layers at the click of a mouse
The newly created layers are displayed in the View palette of the pdfLayerMaker module of pdfToolbox (you can also display them in the Layers palette of Adobe Acrobat).
In our example, background layers are created in addition to the layers for images, texts, and graphics. The different background colors/grids aim to help you to identify white objects more easily on the screen.
Separating and deleting page objects in pdfLayerMaker is as easy as can be: Click on ‘Flatten Layers…’ at the bottom right-hand side of the window to retain currently visible layers and completely delete layers that you no longer need.
