Test 1: Visualization of RGB objects
If you would like to see an overview of the colors contained in the open PDF file, open the Adobe Acrobat Professional Output Preview as well as pdfColorConvert (this option is not available for users of Acrobat Standard or Essential).
To preview just the RGB elements and their precise RGB definition, select ‘sRGB IEC61966-2.1’ as the simulation profile and ‘RGB’ as the filter for the ‘Show’ field in the Output Preview dialog box.
The sample PDF file, which consists of a PowerPoint slide, Excel diagram, and photos, exists entirely in RGB and must be correctly converted to CMYK in order to be printed professionally. The aim of the conversion process is to retain the powerful colors of the objects as well as possible. This depends on the chosen print procedure.
