Preparing PDF files with spot colors for printing (2)
Test 1: Color separation control with Output Preview in Acrobat Professional
To get an initial overview of the current color separations in the file, go to the Output Preview dialog box in Adobe Acrobat Professional (users of Acrobat Standard and Essential cannot use this option).
In the open sample file (“Sample2 Spot color.pdf”) there are four spot colors in addition to the four process colors.
The aim of the subsequent conversion process is to convert the individual spot colors into CMYK.
