Click on the color illustration of a spot color to list all other spot colors defined in the PDF in addition to the process colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). You can combine the selected spot color with one of the listed colors by selecting the other color. This method is especially useful if, for example, you worked with the same spot colors at different workstations during the layout phase but the names of the spot colors differed.
You can change the name of a spot color by overwriting the current name in the second line of the color definition.
Spot colors normally have a CMYK color value as an alternative color definition. This value is used to display the color in question on the screen. If you want, you can also display the LAB and RGB color values. You can change the color definitions of spot colors by entering precise color values prior to the conversion process. In addition, you can use the Overprint option to influence the overprinting behavior. This is often required for opaque metallic colors.
