Test 2: Visualizing spot color objects in Acrobat
If you would like to see an overview of the spot colors contained in the open PDF file (and the objects defined using spot colors), open the Adobe Acrobat Professional Output Preview as well as pdfLayerMaker (this option is not available for users of Acrobat Standard or Essential).
To view the different colors contained in the open PDF file, choose ‘Separations’ in the Output Preview under ‘Preview’.
In addition to CMYK color space objects, the sample PDF file contains spot colors for all objects that are to be punched, perforated, or slotted later on. In addition, silver is defined as a spot color for the car.
