callas PDF technology – equivalent to the functionality in the pdfToolbox, pdfaPilot and pdfChip product lines – is available in the form of C/C++ SDKs or command line versions running on Windows, macOS and Linux. For the C/C++ SDKs wrappers are provided for Java and .Net.
In-house developers or contract developers can integrate callas PDF technology into their projects. Software vendors, SaaS providers, and OEM customers can license callas PDF technology to add powerful and flexible PDF functionality to their products and solutions.
For use in projects inside an organization, licenses are available under the same terms as server versions of the pdfToolbox, pdfaPilot or pdfChip products. Software vendors, SaaS providers, and OEM customers enter into an OEM license agreement, where the terms of the agreement depend on the type of product and integration. License fees usually are a combination of an annual baseline fee – to cover ongoing support and maintenance – and royalties based on suitable metrics.
A fully functional evaluation version of the SDKs or the command line versions is provided to interested parties free of charge. During evaluation, support is provided at no cost. Documentation is available at:
