Berlin, March 21, 2018 - For callas software, PDF Days Europe is one of the most important events of the year. The provider of automatic PDF processing in pre-press and archiving solutions is on the agenda with several presentations as a Gold Sponsor. In addition, callas software will host a Post-Conference workshop introducing the milestone release of pdfToolbox 10. PDF Days Europe 2018 will take place from May 14, 2018 to May 16, 2018 at Hotel Steglitz International in Berlin, Germany.
Dietrich von Seggern, CEO of callas software and vice-chairman of the PDF Association, will give two presentations on the first day. In the track "PDF for Marketers", he informs participants about all the PDF subsets standardized by the ISO, shows their areas of application and describes how the focal points of the ISO standards have changed over time. Next, in the developer track where he is a co-moderator, he will talk about fonts in PDF and what has changed in this area for PDF 2.0. Essentially the presentation will give an overview of how fonts are used in PDF and how they can lead to problems with PDF or PDF/A.
On the second day, the Managing Director of callas software takes part in a session in which several providers present a product in five minutes each. Here he will talk about the new version 10 of pdfToolbox which will be released soon. If participants want to grasp the new version intensively, they will have the opportunity to do so during an all-day Post-Conference workshop. Among other things, callas software experts will show how users can further increase the level of automation in output management and pre-press production with pdfToolbox 10. They will also present new performance functions that have been added. Dietrich von Seggern says: "We will show the use cases for which we have designed the new features of pdfToolbox 10. We will also provide practical information on how users can set it up and use it to extend automated PDF workflows beyond their current limitations.”
Anyone interested in participating in the main PDF Days conference as well as the Post-Conference workshop, can register here.
